Women’s Self Defense Empowerment Workshop: In and Around Your Vehicle

Learn what it takes to defend yourself from physical and psychological challenges facing women.

Our Women’s Empowerment Workshop focuses on rape prevention techniques and tactics; gain self confidence, while learning situational awareness -recognizing danger cues when signs are given and also how to defend yourself when cues aren’t given. Learn necessary skills to stay safe in our ever changing and sometimes violent world.

Workshops are led by Retired Sgt John Riddle and Leigh Garczynski, both who are knowledgeable and certified in their discipline. Personal experiences as well as over 30 years training in martial arts, self defense, and fitness, have empowered them with the necessary skills to share survival skills in the hopes of helping to prevent women from becoming a statistic.

Prepare yourself to be challenged both mentally and physically, to find your inner strength, and to walk away with a sense of self-empowerment.

Boca Raton, FL 33432

Course Description:

Through lecture and hands on, you’ll gain a rapid fire overview to self-defense for the street and home that will have you punching, kicking, clawing and yelling your way to safety.

Topics are focused on threats women encounter in parking lots, how to prevent them passively and proactively, and how to defend and escape from them when in and around your vehicle.

Learn how to focus on techniques that allow you to escape a situation versus trying to overpower a possibly much larger, stronger, and in most cases male attacker.

Creating realism and adrenal response, self defense techniques will be practiced using full-contact against heavily padded attackers (trained role players). This type of learning helps to create “automatic” reactions.
