Women’s Self Defense Empowerment Workshops

During each workshop you will gain self confidence, while learning situational awareness, and the skills necessary to stay safe in our ever changing and sometimes violent world.

Workshops are led by Master Teresa and Life Coach Leigh, both who are knowledgeable and certified in their discipline. Personal experiences as well as over 30 years training in martial arts, self-defense and fitness, have empowered them with the necessary skills to share survival skills with other women in the hopes of helping to prevent women from becoming a statistic.

Women’s Ground Survival Course “Self Defense for the Real World”

This course is designed to address specific needs and effective solutions for women when confronted with a deadly encounter in order to survive a life threatening violent attack.

Techniques taught allow women to escape a situation verses trying to overpower a possibly much larger, stronger, and usually male attacker.

Scenario drills taken from real life deadly encounters will be applied in our tactical training house (simulated furnished 2 bedroom / 1 bath & garage home) after the techniques are taught and practiced in our matted training area.

Course Content:
Survival mindset
Gross motor techniques
Surviving the Takedown
Ground Fighting to Escape
Scenario drills (challenged under stress)

Registration Information:
Open to all levels & physical ability over the age of 12

Required: comfortable physical training attire

Third Party Self Defense Techniques… protecting your loved ones – children / relatives / friends

Participants will learn safety tips and techniques to enable women to escape dangerous situations when out with their children and/or others that are unable to protect themselves.

Self Defense Techniques Every Runner Must Know

Almost every runner has had that uncomfortable feeling. You’re by yourself on an early-morning or evening run when you realize you’re in a vulnerable situation.

You wonder, “What would I do if something happened?”

In addition to making smart choices about where you run, what time of day and who you go with, there are numerous self-defense techniques that can give you a better peace of mind, even if you never need to use them.

This seminar is ideal for the everyday runner who wants to know how to protect themselves before something should happen.

Self Defense During the Holiday Season

All techniques are taught in reference to scenarios that are likely to occur in a close environment when preparing for the holidays such as in your car, in a parking garage, in an elevator or a restaurant.

This course includes applying techniques during simulated attacks.

In the News: Violent Crew Targeting Women

Police in Broward County are warning about a violent crew that are ambushing women at shopping centers. Women were beaten and sprayed with pepper spray in Plantation, Fort Lauderdale and Dania Beach. The thieves are after purses and electronics. The crew even followed some women to their homes, where police say they stole their cars.

This is exactly the kind of scenario that we teach you to respond and defend against!

In the News: Jogger Fights Back After Terrifying Assault

A jogger in Washington state used moves she just learned in self-defense class to save her own life when she was attacked while on a run. Herron was four miles into a 10-mile run in a popular Seattle park when she stopped to use a public restroom.
